White Bursage is known to thrive in very alkaline soils, and harsh desert conditions. It is known to attract certain species of butterfly. As a ragweed species, this plant is highly allergenic, and is best suited for desert restoration projects or as a filler plant for native plantings rather than for residential or commercial landscaping.
