Lake Havasu City would like to remind the community that the Havasu Triathlon will be coming to Lake Havasu City this weekend, March 19, 2016.

The race events begin 7:30 a.m. and continue through approximately 12:00 p.m. Lake Havasu State Park, Windsor 4 will serve as the starting area, and London Bridge Road will be closed at Marlboro Drive to Crystal Beach for the bike portion of the race. The running portion will take place on Beachcomber Boulevard on the Island. Please be advised, due to the event, you will be required to use McCulloch Boulevard when traveling on the Island. Turn restrictions at the McCulloch/Beachcomber intersection will be in place during the race.

Please be advised the participating athletes will be swimming, biking, and running at different times and venues throughout the day. Please exercise additional caution when traveling in these areas, and pay special attention to all signage, markings, volunteers and law enforcement.
