The Lake Havasu City Police Department releases the July 4th holiday weekend statistics from Thursday, July 4th, to Sunday, July 7th, 2024.

In total, the Lake Havasu City Police Department received 1,014 calls for service and made a total of 57 arrests, 28 of which were booked into the LHCPD jail, 29 were cited and released, and six were juveniles who were referred and released. Three of these arrests were felony in nature.

During holiday weekends in Lake Havasu City, traffic safety is of utmost importance and concern. The LHCPD provided enhanced traffic and DUI enforcement from a grant awarded by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. During this year’s July 4th holiday weekend, a total of four DUI offenders were arrested, and a total of 381 drivers were contacted during civil traffic stops.
