On August 5, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m., officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department were dispatched to the 1500 block of Palo Verde Blvd S. in reference to an armed robbery that just occurred.  

While officers were en route to the initial robbery call, Lake Havasu City Police Dispatch received another report of an armed robbery that had just occurred in the 700 block of Lake Havasu Ave N. The second caller provided a similar vehicle and a suspect description of the initial call.

While responding to these incidents, an officer observed the suspect vehicle, and a vehicle pursuit occurred. Ultimately, the vehicle stopped in the area of the 3000 block of Mescalero Dr. The suspect was taken into custody without incident with the assistance of deputies from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. 

The Lake Havasu City Police Department Criminal Investigation Unit is actively investigating this incident, and further details will be released as they become available. At this time, all involved parties are in custody, and there is no risk to the community as a result of this incident.
