On March 22, 2022, at approximately 12:58 p.m., officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department arrested George Anderson in the 2100 block of Quartzite Ln. in reference to a residential burglary that occurred on March 15, 2022.
With multiple tips provided by community members, detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit and the Street Crimes Unit were able to identify and arrest 58-year old Lake Havasu City resident George Anderson.
The initial incident occurred on March 15, 2022, when officers responded to the 2900 block of Southwind Ave. in regards to a burglary. At the time of the incident, the victim reported that an unknown white male forced open a side door to their residence, entered the home, and stole their wallet. The victim was inside the house at the time of the burglary.
During the investigation, detectives learned that Anderson was also involved in a theft of a trailer that was stolen on March 20, 2022. The trailer was subsequently recovered and returned to the owner.
As a result of the investigation, George Anderson was charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft.
During his initial appearance, Anderson was held on two $5,000 bonds and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
