Lake Havasu City proudly announces the opening of the newly enhanced Site Six Boat Launch, Monday, April 29, 2024.

As the only free boat launch in Lake Havasu City, the facility features a new ramp that is longer in length and less steep, a fishing pier catering to all abilities, a fish cleaning station, restrooms, small beach area, and a small picnic area with a BBQ. Safety takes center stage with the addition of a new sea wall, safety rail, and fence.

“The project, made possible through the support of our State Delegation Leo Biasiucci, John Gillette, Sonny Borrelli, and grants including State Lake Improvement Fund, marks a significant milestone for Lake Havasu City and its commitment to enhancing recreational opportunities for residents and visitors,” said Mayor Cal Sheehy.

To celebrate the completion and commemorate this momentous occasion, the City invites the public to attend a ribbon cutting at the site, scheduled for Friday, May 10, at 9:00 a.m.
