Counterfeit Currency Arrests

On October 21, 2017, at approximately 7:00 p.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department was contacted by Mohave County Probation Officers to assist with an investigation involving one of their probationers, William R. Graff.  Probation Officers responded to Graff’s residence in the 3000 block of Lake Drive and located multiple subjects.  During the probation search, officers of the probation department located drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, heroin and a large amount of counterfeit bills. 

Due to the circumstances, the Lake Havasu City Police Department Special Investigations Unit and Criminal Investigations Unit were contacted by the Probation Department for assistance.   A search warrant was served at the Lake Drive residence as well as at a residence in the 200 block of South Lake Havasu Avenue belonging to one of the subjects contacted.  

As a result of the investigation, approximately $3000 in counterfeit currency was located along with washed one dollar bills, several computers, external hard drives, a printer/scanner and other items associated with producing counterfeit currency.  In addition, approximately ten grams of methamphetamine, two grams of heroin and miscellaneous items of drug paraphernalia were located.  

William R. Graff, a 47-year old Lake Havasu City resident was arrested for forgery and possession of drug paraphernalia.   Graff was held on a $5000 bond during his initial appearance and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

Manuel C. DeLagarza, a 39-year old Las Vegas resident was arrested for a felony probation warrant.  DeLagarza was held without bond during his initial appearance and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

Alecia M. Heredia, a 22-year old Lake Havasu City resident was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Heredia was held on a $15,000 bond during her initial appearance and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

Pamela M. Augustine, a 34-year old Lake Havasu City resident was arrested for multiple counts of forgery, fraudulent schemes, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Augustine was held on a $20,000 bond during her initial appearance and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.  Augustine was on probation out of Scottsdale for similar crimes related to counterfeiting. 

Krista Fritchie, a 31-year old Lake Havasu City resident was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Fritchle was held on a $15,000 bond during her initial appearance and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
