On September 30, 2024, at approximately 6:00 p.m., officers from the Lake Havasu City Police Department responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident in the 3500 block of Kiowa Blvd North. Upon arrival, officers determined that the driver, who was the sole occupant of a 2003 Suzuki SL7 SUV, had been ejected and sustained fatal injuries. The department's Crash Team was activated and took over the investigation.

The driver has been identified as 59-year-old Mel Tittle, a resident of Lake Havasu City.

The cause of the accident and any contributing factors remain under investigation. Further details are released as they become available.
