On May 15, 2023, at approximately 7:40 a.m., Lake Havasu City Police Officers responded to a vehicle collision within the intersection of Oro Grande Blvd. and Mohican Dr.  Preliminary investigation indicates that a Toyota Camry, travelling north on Mohican Dr. failed to stop at a stop sign and a Jeep Grand Cherokee, travelling east on Oro Grande Blvd., collided with the Camry.

The driver of the Camry, identified as eighty-two-year-old Jill Fetz, succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The driver of the Grand Cherokee was transported to the Havasu Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Impairment is not believed to be a factor in this collision. This incident remains under investigation, and any further pertinent details that are learned will be released later.
