On March 29, 2022, at approximately 10:49 a.m., officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash in the 2100 block of N. McCulloch Blvd. The investigation revealed that a 2009 Jeep Wrangler with a single occupant was traveling east on N. McCulloch Blvd. when a male pedestrian left the sidewalk on the south side of the roadway and stepped in front of the vehicle leading to the crash.

The victim, identified as 81-year-old Lake Havasu City resident Keith Easterly, was transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Crash Investigation Team is still investigating the circumstances of the crash. There were no indicators that drugs or alcohol were a factor.
