GOVERNOR PROVIDES ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES ON ESSENTIAL SERVICES & CLOSURES

Effective Saturday, April 4, 2020, based on additional guidance of Essential Services released today by Governor Doug Ducey: barbers, cosmetology, hair salons, nail salons, tanning salons, tattoo parlors, spas, and massage parlors, communal pools, amenities at public parks including splashpads, playgrounds, and public restrooms are to cease operations.

In response to this guidance, the following additional City services are closed to the public effective Saturday, April 4: public restrooms, playground equipment, pickleball courts, and dog parks.

Residents and visitors are reminded to follow the guidelines of the Mohave County Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for social distancing. Additional park amenities may be closed, if deemed unsafe. Lake Havasu City Police Department is enforcing these restrictions. Anyone in violation is subject to civil sanctions, including a fine.
