Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation invites the public to attend a ribbon cutting hosted by the city through the Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee next Monday, October 7, at 9:00 a.m. at Jack Hardie Park, located at 2470 Baron Drive.
The park closed in late August for necessary demolition and park improvements. The new and improved park features new playground equipment and a new safety surface. In addition, crews textured and painted the concrete masonry block wall, installed new safety fencing, and salvaged many components for repurposing, including the shade screen, handrails, mounting hardware, and two crawl tubes
Jack Hardie Park is a well-established neighborhood park. Amenities include seven picnic ramadas, BBQs, playground, horseshoe pits, bocce ball courts, restrooms, and an expansive grass play area.
