Over the past several months, detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), conducted an investigation into a subject selling drugs in Lake Havasu City.
On January 16, 2018, at approximately 10:00 p.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department SWAT team served a search warrant at a residence in the 2600 block of Clarke Drive. During the search, detectives located approximately 11 grams of methamphetamine, several ounces of marijuana and hashish, items associated with the manufacturing of hashish, numerous dangerous drugs and narcotic pills, two grams of heroin, and a large amount of drug paraphernalia.
As a result of the investigation, 27-year-old Lake Havasu City resident Christopher R. Blanker was arrested and charged with possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs, manufacturing of narcotic drugs, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor warrant.
During his initial appearance, Blanker was held on a $250,000 bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
