Over the past several weeks, Detectives with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), have been conducting an investigation on an individual selling illegal drugs in the Lake Havasu City area.
On March 4, 2021, at approximately 8:55 p.m., Detectives with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit observed this individual, identified as 36-year old Jason M. Reck, of Blythe, California, operating a vehicle with a canceled driver’s license in the area of Highway 95 and McCulloch Boulevard South. Detectives with the Street Crimes Unit conducted a traffic stop and arrested Reck without incident on the traffic violation.
During a search incident to arrest, Reck was found to be in possession of 31.8 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Reck is being charged with Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving with a Canceled Driver’s License. Jason Reck is being held on a $25,000 cash only bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
