The Lake Havasu City Police Department Street Crimes Unit arrested a 15-year-old male juvenile, Wednesday, September 27, 2017, after fingerprints from a car burglary that occurred on August 30, 2017, in the 3600 block of Hollister Drive came back to the subject, who is currently on juvenile probation. The juvenile is also suspected of committing multiple thefts from vehicles and garage burglaries over the past few months.
On Saturday, September 30, 2017, the Street Crimes Unit and Criminal Investigations Unit served a search warrant at a residence the juvenile was staying at in the 3400 block of Kearsage Drive. One of the occupants, 48-year-old Lake Havasu City resident Shawn D. Maxson was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after being found in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine. Maxson was held on $1,000 cash only bond during his initial appearance and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. The juvenile was booked into juvenile detention. The investigation is ongoing.
