Project Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation is administering a $1.1 million roadway enhancement project for the city of Lake Havasu along Lake Havasu Avenue, from Palo Verde Boulevard S. to just south of Industrial Boulevard. Construction includes widening the existing roadway (east side) and installing new sidewalks, center medians and driveways.

What to Expect

Construction is scheduled to begin July 23 and continue through fall 2018 on Lake Havasu Avenue from Palo Verde Boulevard S. to just south of Industrial Boulevard. Work will take place Mondays through Thursdays from 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. and will require lane closures. Drivers should plan for possible delays and consider using alternate routes. ADOT will maintain access to businesses at all times.
