On Sunday, October 29, 2017, at approximately 3:45 a.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department was contacted by the La Paz County Sheriff’s Department to assist with a shooting investigation. 

La Paz County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 8600 block of Riverside Drive at approximately 12:30 a.m., for a domestic dispute between a male and a female. The male suffered from a gunshot wound during the dispute and was transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.

The Lake Havasu City Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit will be conducting the investigation due to one of the subjects involved being related to a La Paz County Sheriff’s Department official. The investigation is ongoing and more details will be released as they become available.
