On Saturday, March 12, 2016, at approximately 10:40 p.m., Lake Havasu City police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that just occurred at the Kentucky Fried Chicken at 195 Lake Havasu Avenue North.
A male subject entered the rear door of the business wearing a mask and pointed a handgun at an employee. The male subject demanded money from the employee. The employee handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect exited the business. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Unit were called-out to investigate the crime.
The suspect is described as a male approximately 6’03’’ wearing a white mask, grey hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, black gloves, and brown shoes.
