Lake Havasu City Youth Advisory Council (HYAC) at ASU-Tempe Campus at the DemocraSeed Challenge Kickoff.  The DemocraSeed Challenge is a pilot program created by the Center for the Future of Arizona and ASU Office of Entrepreneurship + Innovation. HYAC will compete over the summer against Surprise Youth Council and Salt River Youth Council for prize money to implement a civic health project in their community. Today they will walk away with skills in design thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset to create and implement their peer-to-peer civic engagement intervention.  In August they will pitch their projects at the League of Arizona Cities and Towns Youth Program for the win.
