At approximately 12:35 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, a possible dumpster fire was reported by a passerby in the 1500 block of Corona Drive. The first arriving fire company reported an exterior fire of pallets and cardboard that had extended into a commercial warehouse occupancy and upgraded the call to a working commercial assignment. Three engine companies, one truck company, and a Battalion Chief responded to the fire and gained control of the fire in approximately 26 minutes. The occupancy was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported to firefighters. Crews remained on scene for an additional two and a half hours conducting overhaul operations. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
