Man Arrested for Drug Sales

On May 26, 2016 at approximately 6:34 a.m., detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), with the assistance of the SWAT team, served a drug-related search warrant in the 1000 Block of Avalon Avenue. The search warrant was a result of an on-going drug investigation.

Detectives located and seized approximately seven grams of methamphetamine, several pounds of marijuana, several pounds of marijuana wax, several pounds of marijuana in butter and oil form, 150 dangerous drug pills, a handgun, and $2,456 in currency.

Arrested during the search warrant was 41-year-old Gerald Tobias Garcia, a resident of Lake Havasu City.

Garcia was charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and misconduct involving weapons. 

Garcia was held with no bond pending his initial appearance today, May 27, 2016.
