Mayor Mark Nexsen and Councilmember Cal Sheehy attended and addressed the US Fish and Wildlife Service at last night’s, well-attended public hearing on the draft recreational boating Compatibility Determination, which proposes additional boating restrictions within the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge. Mayor Nexsen proclaimed, “It’s time to take a step back and work cooperatively with Lake Havasu City and other stakeholders,” and offered them a “do over.”
