On November 17, 2024, at
approximately 5:28 p.m., Lake Havasu City Police officers responded to a
missing person report in the 400 block of Rolling Hills Drive. Officers learned
that 72-year-old Deborah Dexter, a Lake Havasu City resident, had left her home
on November 15, 2024, around 12:00 p.m., to visit an unspecified grocery store
in town but did not return. Deborah is known to have memory issues consistent
with dementia.
During the investigation,
officers discovered that Deborah's vehicle, a gray 2006 Ford F-150 with Arizona
license plate AJA4330, was last seen in Quartzsite on November 15, 2024, at
approximately 2:30 PM.
On November 18, 2024, at
approximately 7:19 p.m., a U.S. Border Patrol agent patrolling near Desert
Center, California, located Deborah and her vehicle parked on Eagle Mountain
Road. She was found in good health but was transported to Palo Verde Hospital
in Blythe, California, as a precaution.
The Lake Havasu City Police
