On June 10, 2024, at approximately 5:34 a.m., an officer with the Lake Havasu City Police Department was dispatched to the 2700 block of Arcadia Dr. in reference to a suspicious person call.  During the investigation, an officer-involved shooting occurred. 

Officers immediately began performing life-saving efforts on the subject, who was ultimately transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center for further treatment.

Detectives from the Bullhead City Police Department have been called in to investigate the shooting. It is standard protocol to have an outside agency investigate an officer-involved shooting incident.

No officers were injured during this incident. The investigation is ongoing, and the names of the officers and subject involved in the incident are not being released at this time.
