Police Arrest Armed Robbery Suspects

On Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at approximately 5:51 a.m., Lake Havasu City police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that just occurred at the Windsor Inn at 451 London Bridge Road. A white male entered the hotel lobby with a beanie and sunglasses on. He waited at the front desk for a few minutes and then left.  The male came back inside and attempted to take money from the office. The hotel clerk confronted the suspect and an altercation took place. During the altercation, the suspect pointed a gun at the clerk and left the store.

On January 13, 2016 at approximately 9:32 a.m. an anonymous citizen called police and stated the armed robbery suspect was inside a business near Palo Verde Boulevard South and Highway 95. An officer located the suspect’s vehicle at Mesquite Avenue and Capri Boulevard. Officers conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and placed 24-year-old Gary Bush and 27-year-old Ashlee Allsopp under arrest.

Bush and Allsopp, both California residents, were each charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, and felony fugitive from justice warrants out of San Diego County.  Bush and Allsopp will attend their initial appearance on Thursday January 14, 2016.
