On July 25, 2016, at approximately 4:48 p.m., Lake Havasu City Police Officers responded to Havasu Regional Medical Center emergency room in reference to a stabbing victim that arrived by private vehicle.
Upon arrival to the emergency room, officers found that Thomas Comer (40) was deceased from apparent stab wounds. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Unit responded to the scene and continued the investigation. The investigation revealed that Comer was in an altercation with another male subject at an address in the 900 Block of Cashmere Drive. Detectives served a search warrant at the address and were able to locate evidence of a struggle inside the residence.
A person of interest in this investigation is Steven Upton (38). Steven may be driving a green or tan 2003 Chevrolet Trail Blazer with Arizona license plate BLW2674. Steven is described as a white male, approximately 5’8” tall, 170 pounds, brown hair, and hazel eyes. Police also need assistance locating Upton’s girlfriend, Michelle Angelo (35), for questioning. Michelle is described as a white female, approximately 5’8” tall, 140 pounds, brown hair, and hazel eyes. All subjects are residents of Lake Havasu City.
