Residential Fire

At approximately 10:36 a.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2017, a residential fire was reported in the 3900 block of Calimesa Drive.  The reporting party reported that smoke and flames were coming from the residence. Five Engine Companies, a Ladder Truck, a Battalion Chief, and a Fire Investigator responded to the fire and gained control of the fire. The residents and their pets evacuated safely without injury. There were no reported injuries to the firefighters.  CERT responded to the fire to assist with Rehab duties for the firefighters.

Crews remained on the scene an additional hour conducting salvage operations and investigating the incident. Damages were confined to one-third of the residence.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
