Over the past week, the Lake Havasu City Police Department Street Crimes Unit has been conducting an investigation into possible drug sales at a residence in the 100 block of Mariposa Drive after tips of illegal activity were received from the community.
On Saturday afternoon March 24, Lake Havasu City patrol officers made contact at a local gas station with two occupants of a vehicle associated with the address. During the contact, it was discovered that the driver of the vehicle, identified as 19-year-old Buckeye resident Richard D. Neff, had a local misdemeanor failure to appear warrant for his arrest. Neff was arrested for the warrant and found to be in possession of a small amount of cocaine and marijuana. In addition to the warrant, Neff was charged with possession of narcotic drugs, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of marijuana and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
The passenger of the vehicle, identified as 19-year-old Buckeye resident Trinity F. Walker was arrested after more cocaine and a handgun were located under the passenger seat of the vehicle. Walker was charged with possession of narcotic drugs, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of a concealed handgun under 21-years of age, possession of a weapon during a drug offense and possession of marijuana.
Later in the evening, at 6:45 p.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department SWAT team, Street Crimes Unit and detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET) served a search warrant in the 100 block of Mariposa Drive.
During the service of the search warrant, multiple subjects were located inside the residence where detectives located approximately 41 grams of cocaine, 16 grams of MDMA (street slang “Molly”), 162 grams of marijuana, a yellow powdery substance that tested positive for methamphetamine, numerous items of drug paraphernalia and close to $1500 cash.
As a result of the investigation, the following Lake Havasu City residents were arrested:
20-year-old Aaron R. Ward was charged with felony possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and two counts of possession drug paraphernalia. Ward was held on a $2500 cash only bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
18-year-old Mark A. McElroy was charged with felony possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotic drugs, possession of marijuana and three counts of possession drug paraphernalia. McElroy was held on a $2500 cash only bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
25-year-old Zechary T. Tucker was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Tucker was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date.
21-year-old Tyler J. Gran was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Gran posted a $500 bond.
19-year-old Breauna L. Friesen was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Friesen was released on her own recognizance pending a future court date.
19-year-old Blaise M. Nielson was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Nielson was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date.
19-year-old Mason C. Springer was charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Springer was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date.
As a result of the investigation, the following Prescott Valley residents were arrested:
18-year-old Jesus M. Solis was charged with felony tampering with evidence, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Solis was held on a $2500 cash only bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
19-year-old Karleigh V. Deleon was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deleon was held on a $500 bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
18-year-old Jevon A. King-Johnson was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. King-Johnson was held on a $500 bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
20-year-old Mesa resident Ivie A. Marie Weaver was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Weaver received a $1000 fine and was released.
18-year-old Goodyear resident Ashley R. Noel was arrested and charged with underage consumption of alcohol. Noel received a $500 fine and one day in jail.
