SEARCH WARRANT LEADS TO MULTIPLE DRUG ARRESTS

Over the past month, detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET) have been conducting an investigation into subjects selling heroin and methamphetamine from a residence in the 800 block of Revere Drive in Lake Havasu City. 

On August 20, 2019, at approximately 7:45 p.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s SWAT team, Special Investigations Unit and Criminal Investigations Unit served a search warrant at that residence where multiple subjects were arrested for a variety of drug related charges.   

As a result of the investigation, the following subjects were arrested:

Brandon D. Velazquez, 26 years old, was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.  During his initial appearance, Velazquez was held on a $5000 cash only bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.  

Kirstin E. Leigh, 23 years old, was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a local warrant.  During her initial appearance, Leigh was held on a $5000 cash only bond for the drug charges and $4000 for the warrant.  She was transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.  

Zai R. Alirez, 23 years old, was arrested for possession of narcotic drugs, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and a local warrant. During his initial appearance, Alirez was held on a $5000 cash only bond for the drug charges and $4000 for the warrant.   He was transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.  

 Alicia M. Heredia, 23 years old, was arrested for possession of narcotic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and a local warrant.  During her initial appearance, Heredia was held on a $5000 cash only bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
