Seven Arrested During Drug-Related Search Warrant

On September 26, 2016, at approximately 11:30 p.m., detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET) with the assistance of the SWAT team, served a drug-related search warrant at a hotel in the 2000 Block of Mesquite Avenue. The search warrant was a result of an ongoing drug investigation.

On September 27, 2016, at approximately 6:30 a.m., detectives served another drug-related search warrant at a hotel in the 1300 Block of McCulloch Boulevard North. The search warrant was a result of the drug investigation in the 2000 Block of Mesquite Avenue.

During both search warrants, detectives located and seized approximately 24 grams of heroin, $4,500 in U.S. currency, numerous narcotic and dangerous drug pills, and approximately 15 grams of marijuana.

Arrested during these search warrants were 23-year-old Adrian Lezama-Jimenez, 24-year-old Roberto Lezama-Jimenez, 26-year-old Jeremy Carney, 19-year-old Minda Alday, 28-year-old Edgar Jimenez-Farfan, and 22-year-old Leticia Leal. 19-year-old Amanda Nenigar was transported to the hospital for medical reasons and will be charged upon release from the hospital. Carney and Alday are residents of Lake Havasu City and the remainders of the arrestees are residents of Blythe, California.

Adrian Lezama-Jimenez was charged with the possession of narcotic drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia. Roberto Lezama-Jimenez was charged with possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Nenigar will be charged with possession of narcotic drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia. Carney was charged with possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Alday was charged with possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Edgar Jimenez-Farfan was charged with possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of marijuana for sale, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Leal was charged with possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of marijuana for sale, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All arrestees were held with no bond and held at the police station awaiting their initial appearance.
