On May 23, 2024, at approximately 6:30 a.m., officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department were dispatched to a hotel in the 1300 block of McCulloch Boulevard North in reference to an armed robbery that just occurred. 

Upon officers’ arrival, they contacted the victim who advised he was robbed at gunpoint by three males and a female.  The suspects fled the area in a vehicle after taking several personal items from the male. Officers received a description of the suspects and their vehicle and began to canvas the area.

At approximately 6:51 a.m., officers located the suspect’s vehicle, unoccupied, in the 700 block of Queens Bay.  Officers continued to search for the subjects in the area and located one male subject in the 100 block of Swanson Avenue who was later identified as one of the suspects from the robbery.   A short time later the remaining three suspects were located in the downtown area on McCulloch Boulevard North.  All suspects were taken into custody. One of the suspects lead officers on a brief foot chase but was taken into custody without incident.

The Lake Havasu City Police Department Criminal Investigation Unit is actively investigating this incident and further details will be released as they become available.
