On November 8, 2023, at approximately 10:18 p.m. Lake Havasu City Police Officers were dispatched to a residence within the 3700 block of Hiawatha Dr. regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject within the residence, who has been identified as a 32-year-old Lake Havasu City resident, deceased from a suspected gunshot wound.

Detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit responded to the scene. During the course of the investigation, it was learned by detectives that the male decedent was believed to have been in a physical altercation with his wife, a 30-year-old Lake Havasu City resident, prior to the shooting incident.

No arrests have been made at this point. The investigation is ongoing, and further pertinent details will be released as they become available. The names of the involved individuals are not yet being released due to the ongoing investigation.
