SPEED LIMIT LOWERED ON MCCULLOCH BLVD. SOUTH IN SCHOOL AREA
November 16, 2018

To increase safety measures for the growing number of children attending school in the area, Lake Havasu City is installing 25 mph speed limit signs on McCulloch Boulevard South, between Bonanza Drive and McCulloch Court on Monday, November 19. The speed limit is reduced from 35 mph to 25 mph in both directions for this immediate area. Reducing the speed limit promotes the safety of students attending Calvary Christian Academy and motorists traveling in the area, especially during the morning and afternoon school drop-off and pick-up times.

Warning signs alerting motorists of the change in the speed limit and an increased police presence are in place for the next few weeks to alert motorists of the transition. As always, motorists should use caution and obey all traffic signs when traveling through school zone areas. For additional information, please contact Lake Havasu City at (928) 855-3377.
