Stolen Vehicle Leads to Multiple Arrests

The Lake Havasu City Police Department Special Investigations Unit located an unoccupied stolen vehicle while conducting a separate investigation in the 2500 block of Havasupai Boulevard.  One male and one female subject were observed entering the vehicle and leaving a residence in the area.  A high risk vehicle stop was conducted on the vehicle on Havasupai Boulevard near Acoma Boulevard South and the two subjects were taken into custody without incident.  

During a search of the vehicle, a plastic bag containing approximately five pounds of methamphetamine was located.  The vehicle, a 2002 Nissan MGL was reported stolen recently out of Oklahoma where the two occupants have ties. 

The driver of the vehicle, 35-year old Lake Havasu City resident Jannae D. Mahesh was arrested and charged with multiple felonies including possession of dangerous drugs for sale, transportation of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft of means of transportation, driving on a suspended license and a misdemeanor warrant.  

The passenger in the vehicle, 44-year old Lake Havasu City resident Timothy E. Campbell was arrested and charged with multiple felonies including possession of dangerous drugs for sale, transportation of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and theft of means of transportation.  

On June 22, 2017, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s SWAT team, Special Investigations Unit and Criminal Investigations Unit served a search warrant in the 2500 block of Havasupai Boulevard. Seized during the search warrant was an additional 24 grams of methamphetamine.  The approximate street value of the seized drugs is $110,000.

Arrested as a result of the search warrant were 47-year old Eric W. Campbell, 45-year old Kimberly S. Campbell and 55-year old Rhonda D. Buelow, all Lake Havasu City residents.   

Eric W. Campbell was arrested and charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license.

Kimberly S. Campbell was arrested and charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.   

Rhonda D. Buelow was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. 

All of the subjects had their initial appearance on June 23, 2017.  Rhonda Buelow was released on her own recognizance.  Jannae Mahesh, Kim Campbell and Eric Campbell were each held on a $75,000 bond.  Tim Campbell was held on a $40,000 bond.  All subjects were transferred to the custody of the of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
