As part of the annual effort to keep our roads in good condition, Lake Havasu City is continuing its annual pavement preservation efforts with the application of fog seal on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 lasting approximately four weeks, subject to weather conditions. The fog sealing process is an efficient and cost effective method of prolonging the useable service life of asphalt pavement.

The application of the material generally occurs on one side of the street at a time and the remaining side is completed the next day. Residents and businesses, located along streets being improved, will receive notice at least five days in advance of the construction and again 24-hours prior to the work. The City asks that residents remove all vehicles from the streets and avoid releasing water into the street, during the time that they are scheduled for work.

Motorists traveling on a street being fog sealed can expect delays with lane restrictions. Thank you for your patience.  Please exercise caution when driving through any construction area.
