SUBJECT ARRESTED FOR SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF A MINOR
January 06, 2020

Over the past several months, Detectives with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit have been conducting an investigation of sexual exploitation of a minor after receiving information from the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) indicating that known pornographic images of children have been flagged to a potential residence in Lake Havasu City.

On December 19, after pinpointing an exact location, Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in the 3000 block of Whirlwind Lane where the suspect was residing. During the search warrant, multiple items of media to include cell phones, laptop computers and tablets were located and seized as part of this investigation. The suspect, 27-year-old Lake Havasu City resident Larry Gene Henderson, was subsequently arrested after he was located at a separate location in Lake Havasu City.

As a result of this investigation, Larry G. Henderson was charged with twenty-three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. During his initial appearance, Henderson was held on a $100,000 cash-only bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

At this time, there is no evidence to suggest that Henderson has had contact with any local juveniles and there were no locally known victims associated with this particular case.
