Over the past several days, Officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department, along with Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Unit, have been investigating several thefts from vending machines that have taken place in the Lake Havasu City area. During these thefts, the suspect had forced entry into the machines and removed the money from the change boxes.
After further investigation, it was determined that 43-year old Beaumont, California resident Randy Crayton was a suspect in these theft cases. During a follow-up investigation, Officers located Crayton in the 1600 block of McCulloch Blvd N. and took him into custody without incident.
Randy Crayton is being charged with four counts of 3rd Degree Burglary, four counts of Theft and four counts of Criminal Damage. After his initial appearance, Crayton was held on a $9,000 bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
