In an effort to provide better accommodations at the City’s dog parks, Dylan’s Dog Park at SARA Park will be closed from Monday, April 18, 2016 at 5:30 am to Monday, April 25, 2016 at 6:00 am. By closing the facility and asking patrons and their pets to use the other dog parks (Avalon Dog Park and Lions Dog Park at London Bridge Beach) during this time, we will be able to perform non-routine maintenance and allow the turf to recover. We appreciate your assistance and patience.

We anticipate closing the Dylan’s Dog Park at SARA Park four (4) times a year, in addition to the Winterblast closure to effect these changes and improve the facility. We anticipate closing the Lions Dog Park at London Bridge Beach three (3) times a year and Avalon Dog Park twice (2) a year, based on these parks less use. Each closure would be for one week. Tentative dates for this effort are as follows:

• 4/18/16 to 4/25/16 - Dylan’s Dog Park, SARA
• 6/6/16 to 6/13/16 - Lions Dog Park
• 6/20/16 to 6/27/16 - Dylan’s Dog Park, SARA
• 7/11/16 to 7/18/16 - Avalon Dog Park
• 8/1/16 to 8/8/16 - Dylan’s Dog Park, SARA
• 8/15/16 to 8/22/16 - Lions Dog Park
• 11/7/16 to 11/14/16 - Lions Dog Park
• 11/14/16 to 11/21/16 - Dylan’s Dog Park, SARA
• 12/5/16 to 12/12/16 - Avalon Dog Park
