Detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), have been investigating a person selling large quantities of methamphetamine throughout Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

On June 2, 2022, at 8:10 p.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit and Street Crimes Unit conducted a traffic stop in the area of London Bridge Road and Sea Angler Drive. During the traffic stop, K9 Rocky alerted to the presence of illegal drugs in the vehicle. A search was conducted, and approximately half an ounce of methamphetamine was located. A subsequent search warrant was executed at a storage unit located on London Bridge Road in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. During the search, detectives located just under half a pound of methamphetamine.

As a result of the initial investigation, 57-year-old Lake Havasu City resident Teresa Mogensen was arrested. Mogensen was charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

During Mogensen’s initial appearance, she was held on a $25,000 cash only bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
