In accordance with City Code Chapter 3.20, the trash rates are to be adjusted every January 1 based upon the changes in the cost of living index for the preceding period of October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016, The C.P.I for this period increased 1.1%, therefore the trash rates will be increased .17 cents per month on January 1, 2017, to $16.38 per residential customer. Republic Services will notify commercial customers of the new commercial rates.
