Two Arrested For Methamphetamine Sales

The Lake Havasu City Police Department Special Investigations Unit has been conducting an investigation over the past month into a subject selling methamphetamine within Lake Havasu City.  A traffic stop was conducted on the subject’s vehicle early Thursday morning May 11, 2017 which led to a search warrant being served on the vehicle.  During the search of the vehicle, detectives located approximately 7 ounces of methamphetamine, 22 grams of marijuana and 94 dangerous drug pills. 

As a result of the investigation, the driver of the vehicle, 29-year old Lake Havasu City resident Angel D. Perez was arrested and charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, transportation of dangerous drugs for sale, importation of dangerous drugs, transportation of marijuana for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia, all felonies. 

A passenger in the vehicle, 35-year old Lake Havasu City resident Amy S. Faddis was arrested and charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, transportation of dangerous drugs for sale, importation of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all felonies. 

With the assistance of the Lake Havasu City Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics Team, a search warrant was also served on Perez’ residence in the 2600 block of S. Jamaica Blvd at approximately 11:00 A.M. on May 11, 2017.   Additional items of evidence were located at the residence. 

During their initial appearances, Angel D. Perez was held on a $40,000 bond and Amy S. Faddis was held on a $25,000 bond.  Both subjects were transported to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
