During the investigation, several pieces of mail and casino club cards not belonging to the subjects were located in Perry’s purse. The mail was discovered to have been stolen from a mailbox earlier the same day from the 1700 block of Duel Drive.

As a result of the investigation, Cecil R. Thomason was charged with organized retail theft and trafficking stolen property. Sarah M. Perry was charged with organized retail theft, possession of a stolen credit card and possession of narcotic drugs. During their initial appearances, Thomason and Perry were each held on a $40,000 bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. The subjects recently got out of prison in Las Vegas, Nevada, for similar crimes and moved to Lake Havasu City a few weeks ago.  The investigation is ongoing.
