On June 8, 2016 at approximately 7:34 p.m., detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET) conducted an undercover operation in which 54-year-old Horry Robertson (Also known as Red) agreed to meet with detectives and sell them heroin. Detectives met with Robertson and took him into custody. A search warrant was later served at Robertson’s motel room in the 100 Block of London Bridge Road.
During the arrest, Robertson was in possession of a small amount of heroin. During the search warrant, detectives located and seized a small amount of heroin, a small amount of methamphetamine and marijuana, a sawed-off shotgun, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Horry Robertson was charged with the sale of narcotic drugs, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana, misconduct involving weapons, and an outstanding warrant out of Lake Havasu City.
Robertson was held with no bond pending his initial appearance and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
During the investigation, detectives observed 38-year-old Ricardo Salcedo near the location and discovered that he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Salcedo was also wanted in connection with an on-going drug investigation. Officers from the police department’s Street Crimes Unit took Salcedo into custody. Salcedo was in possession of 3.7 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of heroin and marijuana.
Ricardo Salcedo was charged with possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Salcedo was also charged with the sale of dangerous drugs, which stemmed from the on-going drug investigation.
Robertson was held on a $160,000 bond at his initial appearance and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
Robertson and Salcedo are both residents of Lake Havasu City.
