Lake Havasu City honors our Veterans on Monday, November 11, by joining VFW Post #9401 at their Annual Veterans Day Parade and ceremony to pay tribute to the men and women who have bravely served our nation in the United States Armed Forces.

The parade begins at 9:00 a.m., routed along McCulloch Boulevard with a temporary road closure on McCulloch Boulevard from Acoma Boulevard to Capri Boulevard from 7:00 a.m. to approximately 11:00 a.m.

Following the parade, the public is invited to a ceremony at 11:00 a.m., hosted at the VFW Post #9401 headquarters located at 266 London Bridge Road, where there is an additional road closure on London Bridge Road from the Hampton Inn south parking lot to Palo Verde Boulevard South, from 10:00 a.m. until approximately 1:30 p.m. during the ceremony activities.

Additionally, City offices are closed on Monday, November 11, in observance of the Veterans Day Holiday.  Police and Fire Department services are unaffected. However, administrative offices are closed. Aquatic Center is open for scheduled swim lessons only. All City offices resume normal schedules on Tuesday, November 12. Trash and recycling schedules are not interrupted.

Please exercise additional caution when traveling in the areas and pay special attention to all signage, markings, volunteers, and law enforcement.
