Temporary road closures on Mesquite Avenue are required for Public Works Infrastructure Improvements.  To reduce the impact on local businesses and motorists, contractors will work at night to improve the water system. 

Mesquite Avenue at Riviera Boulevard and Mesquite Avenue from Civic Center Boulevard to Moyo Drive are temporarily closed this Thursday, October 10, at 7:00 p.m., and are scheduled to reopen the following morning on Friday, October 11, at 3:00 a.m.

Detours are in place for motorists in and around the area of the intersection at Mesquite Avenue and Riviera Boulevard, and also in the area of Civic Center Boulevard to McCulloch Boulevard.

As always, exercise caution when traveling through construction zones, especially at night when visibility is reduced.
