On Saturday, May 21, 2016 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. the Lake Havasu City Police Department Special Assignments Unit will be assisting the Arizona Game & Fish Department with promoting boating safety awareness and a life jacket exchange program at London Bridge Beach, located at 1340 McCulloch Boulevard North.

This event will provide an opportunity for members of the boating community to exchange their unserviceable life jackets for a quality life jacket at no charge.  The trade-in program includes those life jackets that are unsafe, torn-up, or outgrown life jackets and are replaced with a new life jacket. They will also be conducting courtesy vessel safety checks to the public. Boaters who frequent Lake Havasu are all urged to attend the event.
