On December 05, 2024, a female subject was arrested for two counts of fraudulent schemes, forgery, and aggravated identity theft as a result of an investigation conducted by the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit.
Since early November 2024, the Criminal Investigations Unit has been investigating a report of a fraudulent boat sale involving a false identity and a forged vehicle registration that resulted in the unlawful receipt of $50,000 from a Florida-based financial institution.
As a result of the investigation, 50-year-old Lake Havasu City resident Tiffany Bouchard-Hernandez was arrested by the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit during a traffic stop at the intersection of Jamaica Boulevard South and Acoma Boulevard South.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Unit, with the assistance of the LHCPD SWAT team, served a search warrant at a residence in the 3300 block of Jamaica Boulevard South. Seized during the search warrant were multiple identification cards, laptops, and stolen mail.
Tiffany Bouchard-Hernandez was charged with two counts of fraudulent schemes, two counts of forgery, theft, and aggravated identity theft.
During her initial appearance, Bouchard-Hernandez was held on a $10,000 cash-only bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
