On March 10, 2022, at approximately 12:30 p.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department took Jenelle O’Neil into custody for her alleged involvement in multiple thefts that occurred in Lake Havasu City between March 5, 2022, and March 9, 2022.
Officers investigated seven theft reports involving a female suspect removing either a purse or wallet from the victims while they were shopping at local businesses. Detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations
Unit took over the investigation. Through their investigation, they established that 40-year-old Lake Havasu City resident Jenelle O’Neil was responsible for the thefts. On March 10, 2022, at approximately 12:30 p.m., O’Neil was arrested
during a traffic stop in the area of Green Acres Dr., and Applewood Dr. Detectives additionally served search warrants on O’Neil’s residence and her vehicle. The investigation is still ongoing.
As a result of the initial investigation, Jenelle O’Neil was charged with eight counts of theft and four counts of theft of a credit card. O’Neil is being held at the Lake Havasu City Police Department Jail Facility awaiting her initial court
appearance.
