Lake Havasu City Transit is announcing the start of its second pilot route on The Bridge called The Express. The service will begin on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. The Express will service bus stop locations at Pima Wash Bus stop, Arizona State University (ASU) Lake Havasu City campus, and Walmart.

On November 9, 2022, at approximately 11:07 p.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Crash Investigation Team responded to the intersection of Chemehuevi Blvd. and Silver Saddle Dr. regarding a single-vehicle roll-over crash.

City offices are closed on Friday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. Police and Fire Department services are unaffected, however Administrative Offices and the Aquatic Center are closed. All City offices resume normal schedules on Monday, November 14. Trash and recycling schedules are not interrupted.

The Lake Havasu City Police Department, in cooperation with the Mohave County Juvenile Probation Department and the Arizona Youth Partnership, will be hosting a Fentanyl Awareness program on November 2, 2022.

On October 23, 2022, at approximately 7:39 p.m., officers from the Lake Havasu City Police Department arrested three Las Vegas residents, Shanae Swanson (30), Joy Evans (28), and Jamesha Marshall (31) in the 1800 block of N. McCulloch Blvd. in connection with multiple organized retail theft investigations.

The Lake Havasu City Police Department will be conducting enhanced traffic and DUI enforcement on Monday, October 31, 2022, for the Halloween celebration. The Lake Havasu City Police Department wants to remind everyone to celebrate responsibly. Motorists should follow Arizona’s traffic and vehicle regulations, be aware of pedestrians crossing the roadways, and drive at slower speeds in high pedestrian traffic areas.
