Mayor Sheehy proclaims the week of August 1^st through August 7^th as the Inaugural Support Our Schools Week in Lake Havasu City, in celebration of all the students, educators, advocates, and pioneers that create caring neighborhoods and support our schools.

We also partnered with the Lake Havasu Association of Realtors,  LHC Chamber of Commerce, Havasu K12 Foundation, Havasu Youth Advisory Council, and Havasu Regional Medical Center for the inaugural city-wide school supply collection in support of ALL Lake Havasu City schools.  Collection boxes are placed throughout town at several locations: LH Association of Realtors office, City Hall lobby, LH Area Chamber of Commerce office, LHUSD#1 District Office, Foothills Bank, LHC Post Office, and Havasu Reginal Medical Center.

Please join us in this effort. Items needed are basic needs, including pencils, pens, crayons, composition notebooks, pocket folders, spiral notebooks, pencil cases, etc., and monetary donations also accepted through the Lake Havasu Association of Realtors.
